Mornington Tourist Railway

The Mornington Tourist Railway operates Heritage Train experiences from Moorooduc Station on the Mornington Peninsula Victoria

Heritage Train Rides operate most Sundays from Moorooduc Station for a family friendly 50-minute return journey. Travel in century old timber body carriages that have opening windows, leather seats, vintage pressed tin ceilings in exclusive compartments. Hauled by either our 1941 vintage steam locomotive K163 or one of our 1950-60's heritage diesel locomotives.

Driver Experiences are available on selected dates (pre-booking required) where you can have the thrill of driving the train (under instruction) yourself and have your friends and family travel on board the train.

Children's Birthday Parties are available in our dedicated Party Carriage. Two exclusive compartments are available (either 34 or 40 people capacity). BYO Food and Beverages for your special group booking.

Special Events operate year-round including Santa Special Trains, Easter Egg-Spress, Superheros Trains and many more! Keep an eye out on our website or social media for details.

We are available for Charters at any time to suit any function, tour, group or occasion. Often catering for Weddings, School Excursions, Community Groups, Family Day events.
